Enable installation of non-Google Play applications.
1. From a Home screen, tap
2. Tap Lock screen and security > Unknown
sources > OK to enable this option.
Warning: Enabling installation of third-party applications
can cause your device and personal data to be more
vulnerable to attacks by unknown sources.

Encrypt Your Data

Require a numeric PIN or password to decrypt your
device each time you power it on or encrypt the
data on a memory card (not included) each time it is
connected.
1. From a Home screen, tap
2. Tap Lock screen and security > Other security
settings for the following options:
Encrypt device: Require a password to
decrypt your device each time you turn it on.
Encrypt external SD card: Tap to enable
the encryption of SD card data, requiring
a password to be entered each time the
microSD card is connected.
Note: Make sure your battery is charged more than
80 percent. Encryption takes an hour or more.
