NOTE:
• If the central door locking system is unlocked using the metal insert of the key, the alarm is not
disabled.
• In the event of accidental activation of the alarm, or in any case to interrupt the acoustic and
visual signal cycle when activated, it is possible to push the
to MAR-ON for at least five seconds, after which the system will deactivate.
• If the batteries of the key fob discharge or there is a fault in the system, the alarm can be
switched off by inserting the key in the ignition switch and turning it to MAR-ON.
Anti-lift Protection
To ensure the correct operation of the anti-lift protection, completely close the side windows.
• To disable both audible and visible signals, turn the ignition key from STOP to MAR-ON twice in
a row, then activate the alarm within 15 seconds, pushing the
Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter.
The Vehicle Security Light in the instrument cluster will flash for several seconds when anti-lift is
deactivated.
NOTE:
Any disabling of the anti-lift protection must be repeated each time the ignition is switched OFF.

SEAT BELT SYSTEMS

• Be sure everyone in your vehicle is in a seat and using a seat belt properly.
• Position the lap belt so that it is snug and lies low across your hips, below your abdomen. To
remove slack in the lap belt portion, pull up on the shoulder belt. To loosen the lap belt if it is too
tight, tilt the latch plate and pull on the lap belt.A snug seat belt reduces the risk of sliding under
the seat belt in a collision.
• Position the shoulder belt across the shoulder and chest with minimal, if any slack so that it is
comfortable and not resting on your neck. The retractor will withdraw any slack in the shoulder
belt.
• A deployed pretensioner or a deployed air bag must be replaced immediately.
Lap/Shoulder Belts
• All seating positions in your vehicle are equipped with lap/shoulder belts.
• Be sure everyone in your vehicle is in a seat and using a seat belt properly.
• Position the lap belt so that it is snug and lies low across your hips, below your abdomen. To
remove slack in the lap belt portion, pull up on the shoulder belt. To loosen the lap belt if it is too
tight, tilt the latch plate and pull on the lap belt.A snug seat belt reduces the risk of sliding under
the seat belt in a collision.
