1. REMOVE TRANSMISSION UNDERCOVER
2. DRAIN P.T.D. OIL
Remove the drain plug and drain the oil.
3. DISCONNECT P.T.D. DRIVE SHAFT

lal Place matchmarks on the flange of P.T.O. and yoke
of drive shaft.
Ib) Remove the four bolts and nuts and d iscOl1nect the
drive shaft.
4. DISCONNECT P.T.D. SH IFT ROD
5. REMOVE P.T.D. FROM TRANSMISSION
lal Remove the six bolts.
Ib) Lightly tap the PTO. case, and then remove the
P.T.O. assembly and gasket.
