Use this mode to take close-up shots.

Z Usable Memory Cards
You can use the xD-Picture Card, the SD Memory Card and the SDHC Memory Card with the FinePix S5700 / FinePix S700
/ FinePix S5800 / FinePix S800. In this Owner's Manual, these cards are expressed as "Memory Card".

• Use a tripod to prevent camera shake in Macro mode.
• Any of the following cancels Macro mode:
- Changing the Mode dial to
- Turning the camera off
• If the flash is too bright, use flash brightness adjustment
( P.89).
• Even if MULTI ( p.87) in the

• AF-assist may not function correctly if the camera is up
close to the subject, such as in macro-mode.
