solution—about a tablespoonof
bakingsodato a quartof water.
Thisbothcleansandneutralizes
odors.Rinsethoroughlywithwater
and wipedry.
Otherpartsof the refrigerator—

vegetabledrawers,ice storage
bin andall plasticparts-can be

Drain openingin freezer

basketandflusha solution ofbaking
soda(oneteaspoon)andtwocupsof
hot (notboiling)waterthroughthe
drainline withthe helpof a meat
baster.This willhelpeliminate
odor and reducethe likelihood
of a cloggeddrainline.
If drainbecomesclogged,use a
meatbasterandbaking-soda-and-
watersolutionto forcethe clog
throughthe drainline. Continue
flushinguntillineis clear,then
emptyand replacethe defrost
waterpan immediately.
Care shouldbe takenin moving

wall. Alltypesoffloorcoverings
can be damaged,particularly
