OPERATION

Driving Downhill

When driving down-
hill, follow these pre-
cautions:
1. Avoid steep hills
(15° maximum).
2. Drive straight
downhill. Avoid
descending a hill at
an angle, which
would cause the
vehicle to lean
sharply to one side.
Travel straight
downhill when
possible. For
model HD and
HDPTO: Keep the
heavy end of the
vehicle uphill.
3. Slow down.
4. Apply the brakes
slightly to aid in
slowing.
