~Relaxationshrinkage can occurin knitfabricsthathavebeenimproperlystretched
and ekmgatedbythe manufacturer. W henthisoccurs,garmentmaybepressedback
intoshapeaftereachwashand
dry cycle.
~Progressiveor delayedshrinkage is causedwhenstarchor sizing(in somefabrics)
is graduallyremovedby laundering. M aybe noticedin oldergarmentsthathavebeen
washedmanytimeswithoutprevious shrinkage. T reatas forRelaxation S hrinkage above.
* Shrinkage caused by overheatingoccursin certainknitfabricsthathavebeenheat-
shaped.Whenwashing,dryingor ironingtemperaturesexceedthe temperatures used
to shapeset, shrinkagemayoccur.Thiscannotbe corrected,but it canbe preventedby
washingin coolor warmwater;dryingon Lowor Delicateheat.
~ Leavingclothesin dryerafiertumblingstops.Removeandhangclothesimmediately.
~Toomanyclothesin dryer.Dry onlyonewasherloadat a time.Do notcombineloads.

3. If unsuccessful, r etumbleon highheatfor 10to 12minutesand hangimmediately.
4. Iron carefully.

6. Somewrinklesmayremainwhichcannotbe removed.
