~Ironor manganesein watermaycauseoverallyellowing or yellowspots.
L Useextradetergentplusa non-precipitating w atersoftenerdissolvedin water
beforeaddingclothes.Use non-chlorine bleach.
2. Havea specialfilteror chemicalfeederinstalledin yourhometo removeironand
manganesefromwater.
3. Runhotwaterfor a fewminutesto cleanironresiduebuildupin lines;drainwater
heateroccasionally.
4. Toremovespds: spreadstainedportionoverpanofboilingwaterandsqueeze
lemonjuice throughstain.'lbremoveoverallyellow,usea commerciallyavailable
rust scaleremover,following packageinstructions. I f porcelaindamagecan occur,
do notuse in the washer;use a plasticcontainer.
