Before
you
start, insert the
probe

First. put probe into food. In general. Insert
probe Into centermost part of food (at least one
Inch Into food

wall until "seated". BE SURE PROBE IS AT-
TACLE (When you press
START, if probe

not attached securely, oven sounds a

ond signal and flashes "Use Probe" on dis-
play panel. The oven w ~ l l not start.)

Touch TEMP COOK. "Enter Temp" flashes
on the display. Read-out displays:
0 and au-
tomatic Power Level 10 is displayed.
2. Select the temperature you want.
Use 170
(shown on display) for your soup.
3. Select Power Level.
The oven is automat-
ically set at
HIGH unless you change the
Power Level. For your coffee, leave the oven
at HIGH. (For other foods, see recipe's in your
Cookbook for suggested
Power Levels.

Press START. The inside light comes on. A
fan starts. The readout automattcally In-
dicates temperature.
5 . The word
"Cool"
on the readout lets you
know that the
internal temperature of the
food hasn't reached 90°F. yet. Since the wa-
ter for your soup came from the cold
water
tap, it'll be less than 90".
The probe senses temperatures between 90''
and 200°F Once above 90".
the readout
panel shows you the mternal temperature of
the food untll the temperature you selected is
reached. The oven sounds for 3 seconds and
flashes "End". Then the oven shuts clff.
6 . The signal tells you when the foocl reaches
the temperature you selected. The o'ien auto-
matically shuts off. Soup's ready!
7. Remove the cable end
of the probe from
the receptacle.
Then remove food and
tem-
perature probe together.
