About Locations
Licensed users who have been using HTC Locations can continue to use this app on
HTC One SV.
Licensed users can:
§ View worldwide online maps.
§ Use your existing map. Download map updates for 2 years (starting from license
activation).
§ Search for addresses, nearby places, or places of interest.
§ Get directions and use turn-by-turn GPS navigation.
Finding your location and what's around you
1. Open the Locations app.
2. If you don't see your current location, tap the map to display onscreen controls,
and then tap
3. Tap > Nearby.
4. Select a category that you're interested in to see the places that are close by.
Searching for a place of interest
You can search for a name of an establishment, street, or city. Suggested matches will
be shown while you type.
1. In Locations, tap
2. Tap Points of interest.
3. Enter the place you want to search for. If you don't see what you're looking for,
tap under Extended search to expand the search.
4. Tap an establishment to get directions, show on map, and more.
Tap the map preview to see where the place is on the map.
