Problem

Solution
• Set [USB] to [MTP/PTP].
• NEF (RAW) and TIFF photos can not be
printed by direct USB connection. Use
DPOF print service (TIFF images only)
or transfer to computer and print
using ViewNX version 1.2.0 or later or
Capture NX version 1.3.5 or later or
Capture NX 2 version 2.1.0 or later.
Choose correct video mode.
Confirm that HDMI cable (available
separately) is connected.
Choose correct [USB] option.
Update software to latest version.
Image sensor cleaning changes the
position of dust on the low-pass filter.
Dust off reference data recorded before
image sensor cleaning is performed can
not be used with photographs taken
after image sensor cleaning is performed.

before image sensor cleaning is
