Maintenance and Care

The following intervals apply to normal operating conditions only. If your daily working
time is longer or operating conditions are difficult (very dusty work area, etc.), shorten the
specified intervals accordingly.
Complete machine
Two-hand control
Cooling inlets
Cutting blades
Gearbox and connecting rod
Carbon brushes
All accessible screws and nuts

STIHL recommends a STIHL servicing dealer.

Spray with STIHL resin solvent after cleaning

Visual inspection

Check function – the cutting blades must
quickly come to a standstill when the trig-
ger switch or switch lever, or the trigger
switch, or auxliary switch is released
