When Predictive text (XT9) mode is activated, you can
use continuous input, which allows you to enter text by
sweeping on the keypad.

Enter text with the Swype keypad

Tap the first character of a word and then drag your finger
to the second character without releasing your finger from
the screen.

Continue until you have finished spelling the word.

Lift your finger.

When the device recognises the correct word, tap
the space bar to insert a space. If the device does not
recognise the word, select an alternative word from the
list that appears.
Function
Insert a full stop; Open the symbol panel (tap
and hold).
Insert a space.
