If you use IR:
• Activate the IR connection of your phone by selecting Menu 12.
• Make sure that the infrared port of the phone faces the infrared port of the PC.
If you use a cable:
• Connect the DLR-3P cable to the serial port on the back of your PC.
• Connect the DLR-3P cable to your phone.
Note: Both the cable and the connector must be dry.
Start using the data communication application on the PC. For information on how to use the
application, please refer to that application's documentation.
Note: Making or answering phone calls during a PC connection is not recommended as it
might disrupt the operation.
For better performance during data calls, place the phone on a stationary surface with the
keypad facing downward. Do not move the phone by holding it in your hand during a data
call.
