search for the phone number from the phone book and select Search. Press

Insert smiley
to add smiley characters, such as :-).
Insert word
to add a word in traditional text input,

message with predictive text input on page 48.
Dictionary
to set the predictive text input on and select the language.
Sending profile
to send the message to a pre-selected set. See Message settings on page 55.
Save
to save the message in the
Clear text
to remove all the characters that you have keyed in from the display.

Writing a message with traditional text input

The traditional text input is indicated by
• When writing text, press a number key (

• To switch between upper and lower character case, press
the display indicates the selected case. After a full stop the first letter is automatically a capital
one.
• To insert a number, press and hold the number key you want.
