and dry vacuum cleaner.
This unit has many user-friendly features, e.g.:

– No need to change the filter when switching

A 2801 plus has additional accessories with
a nominal width of 60 mm.
We hope your new vacuum cleaner gives you

Warranty
In each country the warranty terms issued by our
authorized marketing company are valid. We
remedy any fault in the cleaner free of charge
within the warranty period providing the cause of
the fault proves to be a material or manufacturing
error.
Should you wish to call upon the guarantee,
please apply to your dealer or nearest authorised
Customer Service centre taking along also the
accessories and bill of sale.

Safety notes

Appropriate use
The appliance is intended for use as a wet and
dry vacuum cleaner in accordance with the
descriptions and safety instructions in these
operating instructions.
Use this unit in private areas only, e.g. in the
household, workroom or in the car.
Use this unit only with the accessories and
spare parts permitted by Kärcher.
Any other use is considered improper. The
manufacturer is not liable for any resulting injury/
damage; the user alone bears the risk.
General safety notes
Only allow children and adolescents to use the
machine when under supervision.
Never leave the machine unattended if the
master switch is on.

Electrical connection

The voltage shown on the model plate must
concur with that of the electricity mains supply.
Danger of electric shock!
Never grasp the mains plug with wet hands.
Check the connection lead and mains plug for
damage before each use. Have a damaged
connection lead replaced immediately by an
authorised Customer Service point or by an
electrician.
When using the machine in wet rooms, e.g. in the
bathroom, only connect it to sockets which are
connected in series with a ground fault circuit
interrupter. In case of doubt, consult an
electrician.
Danger of explosion!
Never use to appliance to vacuum explosive
liquids, flammable gases, explosive dusts, or
undiluted acids or solvents! This includes petrol,
paint thinners and heating oil which may form
explosive vapours or mixtures when drawn in
with the swirling suction air. Never vacuum up
aluminium or magnesium dust either.
Furthermore, these substances may also attack
the unit.
Do not use the appliance to vacuum burning or
smouldering objects.
When using the appliance in areas of potential
risk (e.g. filling stations), the pertinent safety
guidelines must be observed. It is not permitted
to use the appliance in potentially explosive
locations.

Environmental protection

Disposal of packaging
The packaging is recyclable. Please dispose of it
at a recycling facility.

You can obtain information about environmentally
correct disposal from your Kärcher dealer.
