LISTENING TO COMPACT DISCS

To play a compact disc

1. Press the CD function button.
If you press this button when the unit is in standby mode, the
power will switch on and the function switches to CD.
Playback of the last disc played.
2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button and load up to 3
discs (label/printed side up).
÷ The disc number is printed on the tray.
If necessary, Press the DISC CHANGE button to rotate the tray.
3. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to close the
tray.
4. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button or the CD
function button.
÷ Playback starts from the first track on the first disc.
÷ When all the discs and tracks have been played, the player stops.
÷ If you want to play a particular disc, press DISC to switch discs.

To remove a disc

1. Press the STOP (7) button.
2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button.
3. Press the DISC CHANGE button.

4. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button.
NOTES:
÷ Pressing the OPEN/CLOSE button opens the tray even during
disc playback. Other discs in the player can be changed during
playback, but the disc being played cannot be changed. To
change the disc being played, press the DISC CHANGE button;
playback stops and the tray opens with the disc which has just
been played located on the front left position.
÷ 8 cm discs can be played without an adapter. Never attempt to
use an adapter.
÷ When one of the DISC select buttons (1 to 3) is pressed, the
disc with the selected number starts playing.
÷ The DISC CHANGE button and DISC select buttons are de-
activated when no disc is loaded in the tray.
÷ The disc display indicator will light when a disc is loaded, and
go off when a disc is not loaded.

1. Appuyez sur la touche de fonction CD.
Si vous appuyez sur cette touche alors que l'appareil est en
attente, il sera mis sous tension et la fonction passera à CD.
Le dernier disque lu sera lu.
2. Appuyez sur la touche OPEN/CLOSE et introduisez
des disques avec leur face étiquetée vers le haut.
÷ Le numéro de disque est imprimé sur le plateau.
Si nécessaire, appuyez sur la touche DISC CHANGE pour faire
tourner le plateau.
3. Appuyez sur la touche OPEN/CLOSE pour fermer
le plateau.
4. Appuyez sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE ou sur la
touche de fonction CD.
÷ La lecture commence à la première piste du premier disque.
÷ Lorsque tous les disques et pistes ont été lus, le lecteur s'arrête.
÷ Si vous souhaitez lire un disque particulier, appuyez sur DISC
comme changer de disque.

Retirer un disque

1. Appuyez sur la touche STOP (7).
2. Appuyez sur la touche OPEN/CLOSE.
3. Appuyez sur la touche DISC CHANGE.
Retirez le disque
4. Appuyez sur la touche OPEN/CLOSE.
REMARQUES:
÷ La pression de la touche OPEN/CLOSE permet d'ouvrir le plateau
même pendant la lecture d'un disque. Vous pouvez remplacer les
autres disques sur le plateau pendant la lecture, mais le disque en
cours de lecture ne peut pas l'être. Pour remplacer le disque lu,
appuyez sur DISC CHANGE; la lecture s'arrête et le plateau s'ouvre
avec le disque qui vient d'être lu placé à l'avant sur la gauche.
÷ Les disques de 8 cm peuvent être lus sans adaptateur. N'essayez
jamais d'utiliser un adaptateur.
÷ A la pression de l'une des touches de sélection DISC (1 à 3), la
lecture du disque portant le numéro sélectionné démarre.
÷ La touche DISC CHANGE et les touches de sélection DISC sont
désactivées quand aucun disque n'est chargé sur le plateau.
÷ Le voyant du disque s'allume lorsque un disque est introduit et
s'éteint lorsque le disque est retiré.
