Section 3 - Configuration Interface

The User Account section allows the Administrator to set user access to the DNR-312L. As an Administrator, you can create and

manage user accounts for access to your NVR. Management options include allowing access rights to users, and changing the

admin and user passwords. You can add and delete user accounts, with one exception. The admin account cannot be deleted.

password is lost, you must reset the NVR*. Refer to

*Note: Resetting the NVR will change all your settings back to the factory default settings.

Add a New User Account

Step 1: Input the name for the new user.

Step 2: Enter a password. Type the password again to confirm.

Step 3: Under Live Privilege, check the boxes for the Channels corresponding with the

live view cameras that this user will be able to access. Check the boxes for PTZ

Control and IO Control functions that this user will be able to access.

Step 4: Under Playback Privilege, check the boxes for the Channels corresponding to the

cameras that this user will be able to access. Under Miscellaneous select Setup

and Backup if you would like the user to control these functions.

Step 5: Click Finish to create a new user account.
