Setting Access Control

Authorising discs

You can enable or disable viewing of a
specific disc. This DVD recorder can
memorise settings for 50 discs.

Insert the disc.

If the disc has been locked (child lock
on), the pin code entry menu will appear
on the TV.

Use the alphanumeric keypad 0-9 to
enter your four-digit pin code (see page
59 "Setting or changing the pin code").

Playback will begin.
If you later decide to lock the disc

Press BROWSER on the remote
control.

Press the matching colour coded button
on the remote control to select
{ ChildLock }.

The disc is now locked. You must
enter the four-digit pin code the next
time when you insert the disc.
Helpful Hint:
– Two-sided DVDs and multi-volume discs
may have a different ID for each side/
volume. To completely unlock these discs, you
must authorise each side/volume separately.
TIPS: Press 1 to go back to previous menu item. Press SYSTEM-MENU to exit the menu.
