Bring the needle bar 1 (fig. 3) to its top dead centre (handwheel).

Insert the cylindrical pin (see chapter 14) in hole "1" (fig. 1) of the bearing disc
- the machine is blocked.

Move the needle bar 1 (fig. 3) in accordance with the requirement (screws 2).

Remove the cylindrical pin.

At the top dead centre of the needle bar (= adjustment hole "1"; fig.1), the
distance between the top edge of the needle plate and the point of the needle
must be 11 mm (approx. 1/2 inch) (fig. 2).
