Playing CDs in Various Modes
Playing Automatically When
Turning On the Player (Auto
Play)
You can start playing automatically when you turn on
the player.
By connecting a timer (not supplied), you can start
playing at any time you want.
AUTO PLAY
Set AUTO PLAY to ON.
The player starts playing automatically when you turn
on the player.
To cancel Auto Play
Set AUTO PLAY to OFF.
Note
If you start playing with Auto Play function, the player
automatically starts Continuous Play (When a VIDEO CD
with PBC functions is in the player, PBC playback starts). The
player cannot start in Shuffle Play or Program Play mode.

Switching the Sound Z
On multiplex discs, you can select the sound from the
right or left channel and listen to the sound of the
selected channel through both the right and left
speakers. In this case, the sound loses the stereo effect.
Press L/R/STEREO while playing a disc.
Each time you press the button, the indication and the
sound from the speakers change as follows:
Press
Indication*
You will hear
Once
MONO L
The sound of the left channel
Twice
MONO R
The sound of the right channel
Three times
STEREO**
The standard stereo sound
* When you select ON SCREEN OFF display mode, check the
indication on the front panel display.
** This indication doesn't appear in the front panel display.
Note
When you turn off the player, the standard stereo playback
will be resumed.
