Tuning in a station through a
list

— Preset List

You can select a preset station easily from the
list.

During radio reception, press (MENU).

Press < or , repeatedly to select
"List," then press (ENTER).
If "MW" or "LW" is selected, the Preset List
appears. Skip to step 4.
If "FM" is selected, the list selection display
appears. Proceed to step 3.

Press < or , repeatedly to select
"Preset," then press (ENTER).
The Preset List appears.

Press M or m repeatedly to select the
desired station, then press (ENTER).
The display returns to the normal display.
RDS

Overview of RDS

FM stations with Radio Data System (RDS)
service send inaudible digital information along
with the regular radio programme signal. For
example, one of the following will be displayed
upon receiving a station with RDS capability.

RDS data offers you other conveniences, such as:
• Automatic retuning of a programme, helpful
during long-distance drives. — AF t page 24
• Receiving traffic announcements, even
when enjoying another programme/source.

• Selecting stations by the type of

• Automatic clock time setting. — CT t

Notes
• Depending on the country or region, not all of the
RDS functions are available.
• RDS may not work properly if the signal strength is
weak or if the station you are tuned to is not
transmitting RDS data.
