Switch off the ignition and move the wiper
lever to position A within three seconds.
Release the lever when the windshield
wipers have moved to the service position.

To reduce wind noise or buffeting when just
one window is open, open the opposite
window slightly.

SYSTEM

Blind Spot Information System

(BLIS)
The system is a convenience feature that
assists you to detect vehicles that may have
entered your blind spot zones (A). The
detection area is on both sides of your
vehicle extending rearward from the
exterior mirrors to approximately 10 ft (3 m)
beyond the rear of your vehicle. The system
will alert you if certain vehicles enter your
blind spot zones while driving.

Using the System
The system displays a yellow indicator
located in the exterior mirrors.
Detection Limitations
There may be instances where vehicles
entering and exiting the blind spot zones
may not be detected.
False Alerts
There may be instances when the system
will alert you and there is no vehicle present
in the blind spot zones. For example; road
guardrails or highway concrete walls.
Turning the System On and Off
You can turn the system on and off using
the information display.

INFORMATION DISPLAYS

You can access the menu using the
Information and entertainment display
control.
Controls
Press the up and down arrow buttons to
scroll through and highlight the options
within a menu.
Press the right arrow button to enter a
sub-menu.
Press the left arrow button to exit a menu.
