1-9-3. Recovery Method for Kernel/FPGA Version Upgrade Failure (this unit)

When the kernel/FPGA version upgrade using Memory Stick is failed, and the power does not turn on,
there is a possibility of recovery by writing the kernel/FPGA data using the writing tool.
Required equipment
. Personal computer (PC)
(equipped with USB port and LAN port)
. RS-232C, D-Sub 9 pin straight cable (female-female)
. USB 5 RS-232C conversion adaptor

When PC has RS-232C terminal, this is not required.

Preparation
1. Remove the rear cabinet. (Refer to Section 1-3-1.)
2. Set the switch (S7012) on the B board to Center.
3. Set "1" of the DIP switch (S7000) on the B board to
ON.
4. Connect PC with this unit using the RS-232C cable.
