FUEL AND ENGINE OIL

• Use clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline. (Do not use
leaded gasoline.)
• Use gasoline within 30 days of purchase. Do not use
old gasoline. Doing so could cause problems.
• Do not mix alcohol etc. into the gasoline.
• Do not overflow the gasoline when filling the fuel tank.
(Leave several centimeters of space at the top of the
tank.)
WARNING
• Flame and heat can cause gasoline to explode. Be
sufficiently careful of flame and heat when handling
gasoline.
――――――――― ENGINE OIL ―――――――――
Engine is shipped from Mitsubishi Heavy Industry
Ltd. without oil. Before starting the engine, be sure
to conduct an oil inspection by following the instruc-
tions given below.
1 Place the engine on a level surface when adding oil
and conducting inspections.
2 Check the oil level without the oil gauge screwed in.
3 Fill the oil up to the F-level of the oil gauge (correct
level).
4 Before starting the engine, tightly screw in the oil
gauge.
• Replace or add engine oil following the table below.
• For oil, use high-quality pure API class oils with a
grade of SE or higher.
• Do not add commercial additives to the recommend-
ed oil. Do not mix gasoline into the oil.
• When using multiple grade oils, the amount of oil
consumption will increase, so check the oil level
more frequently than single grade oil.

CARBURANT

• Utilisez de l'essence propre, fraîche et sans plomb. (Ne pas
utiliser d'essence au plomb.)
• Utilisez toute l'essence du réservoir dans les 30 jours de
votre achat. N'utilisez pas d'essence usagée car cela pour-
rait entraîner des problèmes.
• Ne mélangez pas des alcools avec l'essence.
• Faites attention à ne pas faire déborder le réservoir de car-
burant lorsque vous faites le plein. (Conservez une marge
de plusieurs centimètres par rapport au haut du réservoir.)
ATTENTION
• Il y a un risque d'explosion si de l'essence rentre en contact
avec le feu ou la chaleur. Faites bien attention au feu ou à
la chaleur lors de son transport.
HUILE MOTEUR

Il n'y a pas d'huile dans le moteur lorsque ce dernier sort
de l'usine Mitsubishi Heavy Industry Ltd. Vérifiez l'huile
du moteur avant de démarrer ce dernier, en suivant les
instructions ci-dessous.
1 Mettez le moteur sur une surface plane lorsque vous
faites le plein d'huile ou effectuez une inspection.
2 Vérifiez le niveau d'huile sans visser la jauge à huile.
3 Faites l'appoint d'huile jusqu'au niveau F (niveau haut
normal) de la jauge à huile.
4 Revissez fermement la jauge à huile avant de démarrer le
moteur.
• Faites l'appoint ou remplacez l'huile moteur selon les
indications du tableau ci-dessous.
• Utilisez de l'huile de classe SD ou plus (classification
API), pure et de haute qualité ou de l'huile Gold ou
Diamond de Mitsubishi Petroleum.
• Ne pas ajouter d'additifs du commerce dans l'huile con-
seillée. Évitez à tout prix de mélanger l'huile moteur avec
de l'essence.
• Si vous utilisez une huile multigrade, vérifiez le niveau
d'huile plus souvent car la consommation d'huile est plus
élevée.
