Keys and Locks
Remote Transmitter
LED
UNLOCK
BUTTON
On EX model
You can lock and unlock your vehicle
with the remote transmitter. When
you push the LOCK button, all doors
lock.
When you push the UNLOCK button
once, only the driver's door unlocks.
The remaining doors unlock when
you push the button a second time.
Instruments and Controls
The ceiling light (if the ceiling light
switch is in the center position) will
LOCK come on when you press the
BUTTON
UNLOCK button. If you do not open
any of the doors, the light will go out
in about 30 seconds and the doors
will automatically relock. If you
TAILGATE
RELEASE
relock the doors with the remote
BUTTON
transmitter before 30 seconds have
elapsed, the light will go off
immediately.
PANIC
You cannot lock or unlock the doors
BUTTON
with the remote transmitter if any
door is not fully closed or the key is
in the ignition switch.
To open the tailgate, push and hold
the TAILGATE RELEASE button
for approximately one second.
Horn Operation
The horn will sound when you push
the LOCK button twice within five
seconds after first push.
