Safety Precautions

WARNING
Do not use any power supply cord other than that provided with this unit.
Doing so may cause ¿ re or electric shocks.
Do not do anything that might damage the power cable, plug and AC adapter.
Do not damage, make any modi¿ cations, place heavy objects on, heat, place near hot objects, or
forcefully bend, twist or pull the power cable or plug. Doing so may expose cable core, short circuit,
or breakage to the power cable which can cause ¿ re or electric shock. Contact an Authorized
Service Center for any repairs of the power cable.
Make sure not to exceed the rating for a wall outlet or wiring device. Do not use the unit other
than in the 110 to 240 V AC range.
When the rating is exceeded due to multiple wiring from one outlet or any other reason, ¿ re may
occur from the heat.
Do not handle the power cable plug with wet hands.
Doing so may cause electric shocks.
Do not dismount or modify.
Electric shock from the high-voltage parts or ¿ re due to foreign objects may occur.
Do not touch the unit or cable during thundering.
Doing so may cause electric shocks.
An apparatus with CLASS I construction shall be connected to a mains socket outlet with a
protective earthing connection.
Make sure to ground the unit.
Otherwise, it may cause electric shock. The unit has a triplex power plug with a grounding pin. Be
sure to use the unit grounded to ensure safety.
Contact an authorized agent for grounding work.
If any abnormality or problem occurs stop using the unit immediately. If smoke or an
abnormal odor is detected from the unit, unplug the power plug.
Turn the unit off immediately and consult an Authorized Service Center for repair.
Clean the power cable plug regularly to prevent it from becoming dusty.
Built-up dust on the power cable plug can increase humidity which might damage the insulation and
cause ¿ re.
Unplug the cable from the wall outlet and clean it with a dry cloth.
Securely insert the power cable plug as far as it will go.
If the plug is not fully inserted, electric shock or ¿ re from heat may occur. If the plug is damaged or
the wall socket plate is loose, they should not be used.
To prevent the spread of fire, keep candles or other open flames away from this
product at all times.
CAUTION
Do not place the unit on unstable surfaces.
The unit may fall off or tip over, which could cause injury.
Do not install the unit where subject to water, moisture, steam, dust or oil smoke.
Doing so may cause ¿ re or electric shocks.
Do not expose the AC adapter to strong shocks.
Using the AC adapter after a strong impact such as dropping it may cause electric shock, short
circuit, or ¿ re.
Contact an Authorized Service Center for any repairs of the AC adapter.
When multiple units are installed side by side, overlapping 3D images may be displayed.
Adjust the installation positions carefully.
Do not use any AC adapter other than specified.
Doing so may cause ¿ re.
