You can change the look and behaviour of the map screens by customizing the Map Display preferences.

Complete the following:
If you want to...
set the screen contrast to automatically adjust
improve screen contrast in light or dark
conditions
Your preferences are automatically saved.

Select Map 2/2

Complete the following:
If you want to...
use maps from a different continent
Your preferences are automatically saved.

Then...
select the Auto day/night option.
select either the Day or the Night option to manually adjust the contrast.
Then...
select a different map data from the maps you are currently using.
