"00" and "ON" as a reminder the power is on. Power ON indicator will remain on
until power ON/Off button
10. There will be an audible signal every 5 minutes until the Contact Roaster is
turned off.
11. Check food for doneness by using a meat thermometer. If necessary, reset
timer for additional time and check periodically to avoid overcooking.
12. Using a potholder, carefully raise lid to allow steam to escape at the sides
before fully opening.
13. When cooking is complete, press power ON/OFF button
Important: Heat continues to be ON until power ON/OFF button
appliance is unplugged.
14. Using tongs with plastic heat-resistant tips or wooden utensils, carefully
remove food from Contact Roaster.
15. Allow drip tray to cool before removing from under Contact Roaster. Wash
and dry drip tray after each use.
16. Thoroughly clean interior of Contact Roaster after each use, following
directions in CARE AND CLEANING.
USING THE MULTI-PURPOSE BAKING PAN
Note: Use multi-purpose baking pan for foods containing liquids and for baked goods.

Note: Do not place multi-purpose baking pan directly on counter or table top.
Use a trivet or heat-resistant table cover.
5. Press power ON/OFF
Note: Use suggested cooking times found in
COOKING CHART.
7. Timer can be adjusted at any time during cooking
by pressing "+" or "-" buttons.
8. Allow food to cook for desired time.
Caution: Do not leave appliance unattended
during use.
9. During cooking, the digital display will count down
from the initial set time. At end of cooking time, there
will be an audible signal. Display will alternately flash

1. Fill multi-purpose baking pan up to three-
quarters full and insert into Contact Roaster (E).
2. Follow steps 2 – 13 in COOKING.
3. Cook according to recipe directions. Test
for doneness. If necessary, reset timer for
additional time and check periodically to avoid

remove pan to wire rack.
