All modes and settings that you select are saved after you disconnect
the camera. However, only Video and Time Lapse modes can be
accessed when the camera is not connected to the remote or the app.

CONNECTING TO THE GOPRO APP

The GoPro App lets you adjust modes and camera settings using
a smartphone or tablet. Features include full camera control, live
preview, playback and sharing of content, and camera software
