Trouble Mode
SS Energy recovery SOS/Panel
Disconnect the TV. Use a volt-meter and place the positive
probe on the anode of D280 on the SS board (See previous
slide for location), while the negative probe is grounded. Plug
in the TV and turn it on

LED blinks 8 times

Defective Board (possibility)
SS, D board (SS>,D)/PDP
Disconnect
connector SS33 from the
SS board. Plug in the TV
and turn it on

TV power
up and
stay on?
Is there
Yes
approx. 2.7V
at the anode
