The Shutter Button
(Pressing halfway/Pressing fully)
• You can adjust volume of the operational sound in the menu. (P73)
• If you press the shutter button fully in a single stroke, the captured picture may
appear shaken or unfocused. (The camera may have moved during capturing)

Parallax compensation mark
• If you take a picture of a subject at a
distance between 2.3 feet (70 cm) and
3.94 feet (120 cm) with the zoom in tele
position, match the top of the subject with
the parallax compensation mark 1. When
accurate framing is necessary, use the LCD
monitor.
The shutter button is activated in 2 steps:
"pressing halfway" and "pressing fully".
Pressing halfway A
• Focus and exposure are locked.
Pressing fully B
• The picture is captured. In motion image
mode, the recording starts.
