with the network:

> Settings > Phone Settings > Time and Date
> Auto Update

Note: Before you can manually update your phone's
time and date, you must set Autoupdate to Off. Also note
that your phone does not automatically update to
match changes in daylight savings time. You must
manually change the time.

screen saver

The screen saver shows when the flip is open and no
activity is detected for a specified time.

> Settings > Display Settings > Screen Saver
Tip: This feature helps save your screen, but not your
battery. To save battery charge, turn off the screen
saver.
