Text Messaging (SMS)

With text messaging (SMS), you can receive instant text
messages from another messaging-ready phone or
from an email account. When you receive a new
message, an alert displays on your phone's screen.
Your phone's SMS address is PTN@page.nextel.com.
Your PTN is your ten-digit Personal Telephone Number.
Note
Most traditional phone-to-phone text messages
arrive as MMS messages on your i576. Your phone
can send and receive MMS messages.
