Install the paper support

Locate the slots on the back of the printer.

Push the paper support tabs into the slots until
they snap into place.

Make sure the paper support is in the upright
position as shown.

Connect the parallel cable

4a. Connect the cable to the
printer
Use a parallel cable that supports bidirectional
communication (IEEE 1284-compatible), such as
Lexmark P/N 1329605.
