Messages

One of the following messages may appear or
flash in the display during operation.
DVD/Video CD/CD/MP3/JPEG
NO DISC
There is no disc in the unit.
NO STEP
You pressed CLEAR when no track (step) is
programmed.
CHECK DISC
• You inserted a disc in the slot of the currently
playing disc.
• You inserted a disc with non-standard shapes.
CANT PLAY
• A disc that cannot be played was inserted.
• A disc with an unsupported region code was
inserted.
DATA ERR
The JPEG file is an unsupported format.
NOT IN USE
You pressed an invalid button.
PLAY LMT
The MP3 file cannot be played.
PUSH STOP
You pressed PLAY MODE or CD SYNC on the
unit during playback.
STEP FULL
You tried to program 26 or more tracks (steps).
READING
The system is reading TOC information of the disc.
Some buttons are not available.
Tuner
COMPLETE
The preset operation ended normally.
Tape
NO TAB
You cannot record the tape because the tab has been
removed from the cassette.
NO TAPE
There is no tape in the tape deck.
TAPE OPEN
The lid of the tape deck is open.
Timer
SET TIMER
You cannot select the timer function when Play
Timer or Rec Timer is not set.
TIME NG
The start and end times of Play Timer or Rec Timer
are set to the same time.
PUSH SELECT
You tried to set the clock or timer during timer
operation.
SET CLOCK
You tried to select the timer with the clock not set.

NOT IN USE
You pressed an invalid button.
