    Mic overview Mic features mic orientation can be changed, allowing the use of two stereo recording techniques with different characteristics. X/Y technique This technique uses two crossing directional mics. Features: Providing a three-dimensional sound with natural depth and width, this is ideal when you want to capture a specific sound source that is nearby or at a medium distance, for ex- ample, solo performances, chamber music, live rehearsals and field recordings.

    Charging the battery Turn the off. Connect a USB power source (a running computer or ZOOM AD-17 AC adapter (sold separately)). While the battery is recharging, the Charging LED on the back of the will stay lit. After charging completes, disconnect the cable from the USB power source.

    Setting the date and time If the date and time are set, the recorder can add the recording date and time to files. Touch on the Menu screen. Touch Set Date/Time in the submenu. Touch to select the item to change, and touch to set the current date and time.
