Turn the notebook
on in Windows
when the notebook
is off or in
Hibernation.
Turn the notebook
on in QuickPlay
music mode when
the notebook is off
or in Hibernation.

DVD mode when
the notebook is off
or in Hibernation.
Shut down the
notebook from
Windows.

Press the power button.

button turns on the
notebook from
Standby, Hibernation,
or shutdown.
Press the music button.
Press the DVD button.
■ In Windows XP Home,
select Start > Turn Off
Computer >Turn Off.*
■ In Windows XP
Professional, select
Start > Turn Off
Computer >
Shut down > OK.*
Results
■ Power/standby light
and power button light
are turned on.

loads.
