Taking Pictures

Taking pictures with your phone's built-in camera is as
simple as choosing a subject, pointing the lens, and pressing
a key. You can activate the phone's camera mode whether the
phone is open or closed.
To take a picture with the phone open:
1.
Select Main Menu > Pictures > Camera to activate
camera mode. (Additional camera options are available
through the camera mode Options menu. See "Camera
Mode Options" on page 161 for more information.)
To activate camera mode, you can also press and hold
Shortcut
Camera or the Side Camera key.

Using the phone's Main Screen as a viewfinder, aim the
camera lens at your subject.

Select Capture (left softkey) (or press
Camera key) until the shutter sounds. (The picture will
automatically be saved in your selected storage area.)
To return to camera mode to take another picture,
press

Select Options (right softkey) for more options:
Take New Picture to return to camera mode to take
another picture.
Send to Contacts to send your picture. (See page 176
for details.)
Print to print the pictures. You can choose whether
to pick up your prints at a retail store, have them
mailed to you, use a PictBridge-enabled printer
(see page 184), or use a Bluetooth-enabled printer
(see page 198).
