Configure WAN Connection (ADSL Service Connection)

Click on the Quick Configuration hyperlink to access the configuration settings you need to establish the ADSL
connection.
In the Quick Configuration window configure the following settings:
Operation Mode
Connection Type
VPI
VCI
PVC
Submit Configuration Settings
When you have defined the Quick Configuration settings, click
memory. These settings and all other configuration changes made to the Modem must be Committed (to non-
volatile memory) and the Modem must be rebooted for the changes to go into effect. The Modem will negotiate
the ADSL connection automatically upon rebooting.

Use this pull-down menu to enable a PVC connection profile. Choose "Yes" to
activate the selected PVC or "No" to disable it.
Default Operation Mode = Yes for PVC 0. For PVC 1 to PVC 7, default is No.
Choose "Bridged IP LLC" or "Bridged IP VC-Mux" form the pull-down menu.
Default Connection Type = Bridged IP LLC.
Type in the VPI value for the selected PVC.
Default = 0.
Type in the VCI value for the selected PVC.
Default = 35.
Select the PVC for configuration and click the Submit button to refresh the
screen. Then you may proceed to change the other parameters. Up to 8 PVCs
can be defined.
Default = 0.
