Release the hook in direction (1) by using a pointed tool, such as
tweezers or a small screwdriver, and lift up (2) the spacer to take it off.

Installing the Spacer

Follow the steps below to install the spacer when you use 58 mm width paper.

Make sure that the printer is turned off.

Press the open button to open the roll paper cover.
