Standing position with a manual raising
Preparations before standing position
Never stand alone the first time you test your wheelchair. Raising may affect your
bloodpreasure and cause fainting etc.
The chair must be in the brake mode before raising.

Assemble the shank support on the extendable arms that are places on the right and
left side in front of the brake levers. Make sure that the support is properly assembled
before raising.
A belt must be used at all raising.
If the belt is equipped with a "snap"—locking buckle, press it together until you
here a clicking sound. Pull the belt just tight enough for the users chestsize. To
open, push the buttom in the middle of the buckle and pull apart.
What position and what type of belt to use shall be decided at the testing,
depending on the users need, in cooperation with authorized staff.
If the wheelchair is equipped with "banana" armrests, they must be folded up in
front of the user.
REMINDER
Never place the chair in a standing position without a person in the chair, due to
the problem it may cause to lower the chair without a persons weight in the
chair. If this should happen we recommend to place a fully mobile person in the
chair and thereafter lower it down to a sitting position.
