Activation and Service

Before using your phone, you must set up an account with Virgin Mobile.

Starter Kit

You'll need a Starter Kit (sold separately) to activate each new phone. If you're activating a new phone for
yourself, you'll need a Starter Kit for your phone PLUS a Starter Kit for each additional new line you want
to add to your account.
The Starter Kit only activates the phone and does not provide monthly service. You'll need to pick a plan
and Top-Up for monthly service.
If you are swapping/upgrading your phone on an existing Single Line or Multi-line Data Share plan, you
do not need a Starter Kit. Call us at 844-326-1261 to change phones.

Helpful Tips Before You Get Started

Here are some helpful tips before you get started.

To create a new account with multiple lines, in the activation process select CREATE NEW
ACCOUNT for the first phone only. For each additional line you want to add to the account, select
ADD TO EXISTING ACCOUNT.

When picking a plan, remember to select the plan that represents the number of lines that
you want to add to the account.

If you start out on a Single Line plan and decide to add lines to your account sometime in the
future, your plan will adjust to meet your incremental needs.

Set Up Your Account

Once your phone is activated, you can set up your account. Your Virgin Mobile app should start
automatically, but you can access it at any time by tapping Virgin Mobile
screen.
Create a New Account
1. After reviewing and accepting the Terms & Conditions, tap CREATE NEW ACCOUNT.
2. Enter your Activation Card PIN from your Starter Kit.
Note: You will need an Activation Card PIN when creating an account with a new phone.
3. Follow the easy on-screen instructions to complete your account setup, then add any additional
lines.
