Replacing one type of exhaust
filter with another
You can replace the Active HEPA filter c
supplied with your vacuum cleaner with
one of the following exhaust filters:
a a Super Air Clean filter,
b an Active Air Clean filter.
The Active Air Clean filter is fitted in the
same way as the Active HEPA filter.
When replacing an Active HEPA filter
with a Super Air Clean filter, please
note:
If you wish to replace the Active HEPA
filter c with a Super Air Clean filter a,
then it is essential that you also fit the
filter grille*.
* Filter grille - see "Accessories
supplied".
The exhaust filter indicator light (with
reset button) is designed to come on
when the Active HEPA or Active Air
Clean filter needs to be changed.
The filter change indicator light is
irrelevant if a Super Air Clean filter is
being used, as long as it is replaced
every time a new packet of Miele
dustbags is started. The exhaust
filter change indicator will go out
when the reset button has been
pressed.
