Positioning an open device
► Remove the mains plug for the mains adapter from the mains socket.
► Disconnect the mains adapter cable from the DC socket (DC IN) of the notebook.
► Before docking, open the unlocking lever (1).
► If the device is open, the locking levers on the Port Replicator are not visible. Position
the notebook so that it is in line with the back edge of the Port Replicator (2).
Check the position of the locking levers using your fingers.
► Place the notebook on the Port Replicator, press down centrally on the edge (3, on the
same side as the hinge joint) and ensure that the notebook engages.
