Set Limit CPUID MaxVal to 3
The Max CPUID Value Limit is designed to limit the listed speed of the processor
to older operating systems.
Overspeed Protection
Overspeed Protection function can monitor the current CPU draws as well as its
power consumption. If it exceeds a certain level, the processor automatically
reduces its clock speed. If you want to overclock your CPU, set it to [Disabled].
Chipset Feature
Press <Enter> to enter the sub-menu and the following screen appears:
HPET
The HPET (High Precision Event Timers) is a component that is part of the chipset.
You can to enable it, and will provide you with the means to get to it via the
various ACPI methods.
