    Alert Mode: The HH50/51 weather radio has an innovative, automatic alert system. During an emergency, NWS forecasters will send out a special tone to activate weather radios in the listening area; the HH50/51 radio is automatically activated and sounds a loud tone for 15 seconds then switches to the NWS broadcast.
