Red Line Reverse Shifting

To shift into reverse, lift up on the
reverse-lockout collar located under the
shift knob and move the lever into the
gate marked "R."

Your vehicle may be equipped with com-
ponents and labels that use symbols
instead of text. For more information
about these symbols, see "Safety
Warnings and Symbols" in the Index

Your vehicle's instrument panel contains
a message center display and warning
lights and indicators that alert you to
various operating conditions of your
vehicle.
Check Engine or Other Warning
Lights with OnStar
If your Check Engine Light or any other
warning message appears, you can
press the blue OnStar button and speak
to an OnStar Advisor. In many vehicles,
OnStar Advisors can access certain
diagnostic information and tell you how
serious the problem is and what you
should do about it.
