3. RF Offset Adjustment
Conditions
Measuring equipment: Digital Multimeter
Test point: TP532 (RF-O), TP531(RF-I)
Adjustment point: SFR531
1) Connect the Digital multimeter to Test point TP532 (RF-O) and TP531 (RF-I).
2) Press DEMO/PRESET key.
3) Press PLAY key without setting Disc (light on MIC of FL).
4) Adjust SFR531 so that the Multimeter ranges 0 ± 100 mV.
4. RF Waveform Check
Conditions
Measuring equipment: Oscilloscope
Test point: TP504 (TP-RF), TP501(TP-VC)
Test disc: TCD-782
1) Connect the Oscilloscope to Test Point TP504 (TP-RF) and TP501 (TP-VC)
2) Play second track of TCD-782.
3) Check that the amplitude of RF waveform is maximum, and that the lozenge
of center appear clearly.
5. Jitter Check
Conditions
Measuring equipment: Oscilloscope/Jitter meter
Test point: TP504 (TP-RF), TP501(TP-VC)
Test disc: TCD-782
1) Keeping on connecting Oscilloscope to 4, connect the output pin of
Oscilloscope to the input pin of Jitter Meter.
2) Tune the knob of Oscilloscope voltage range at less than 500 mV.
3) Play second track of TCD-782.
4) Check that the display of Jitter Meter is as bellows.
KIKUSUI6135: less than 11.5nS
KIKUSUI6235: less than 40.0nS
6. Play Ability Check
1) Play track 3, 8, 13 of ATD-001, and check playing makes any noise or sound jump.
