Options during a call

Using the speaker

You can speak and listen to the phone from a short
distance without having to hold the phone to your ear,
for example, having it on a table nearby.
To use this feature, press the
icon appears on the bottom line of the screen. To
return to the normal phone mode, press the

Note: When you are in Speaker mode, the Voice Clarity
feature is automatically disabled.

Call waiting

You can answer an incoming call while you have a call in
progress, if your network supports this service and you
have set the Call waiting menu (Menu 9.5.3) to
Activate; see page 177. You are notified of an incoming
call by a call waiting tone.
To answer a call while you have a call in progress:
1. Press the
